He joined the State University of New York (SUNY) at Cobleskill in July 2023 as Professor and Director of the Steps for Success Entrepreneurship Program. He is also Managing Partner at Planet Impact Capital, with over 30 years of experience in entrepreneurship, innovation, systems thinking, and impact investing. Dr. Son holds a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Russia and a Master’s degree in Technology Management from the MIT Sloan School of Management. A serial entrepreneur, angel investor, and educator in strategy, innovation, and fund management, he was honored as “Entrepreneur of the Year 2014” by the University of Hawaii in Vietnam.
Giám đốc Chương trình Khởi nghiệp Steps for Success Đại học Quốc gia New York tại Cobleskill (SUNY Cobleskill) TS. Trần Lương Sơn gia nhập Đại học Quốc gia New York tại Cobleskill từ tháng 7 năm 2023, giữ vai trò Giám đốc chương trình Khởi nghiệp Steps for Success. Ông đồng thời là Managing Partner tại Planet Impact Capital, với hơn 30 năm kinh nghiệm trong khởi nghiệp, đổi mới sáng tạo, tư duy hệ thống và đầu tư tác động. Ông có bằng Tiến sĩ Hóa lý tại Liên bang Nga và Thạc sĩ Quản lý Công nghệ tại Trường Quản trị Sloan – MIT. Là nhà khởi nghiệp, nhà đầu tư thiên thần và giảng viên về chiến lược, đổi mới và quản lý quỹ, ông từng được vinh danh là “Doanh nhân của năm 2014” bởi Đại học Hawaii tại Việt Nam.
